Eagle Scout Ceremonies

Introduced in the year 1911 Eagle Scout is the highest rank that a Boy Scout can attain. It is attained by the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouting of America. A Scout that attains Eagle Scout rank is called Eagle or Eagle Scout. Till date about two million young men have attained the rank of Eagle Scout. The rank of the Eagle Scout is attained for the whole life, hence, a phrase in its honor is said that “once an Eagle, always an Eagle.” There are various requirements to be fulfilled by the Boy Scout in order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. There are total twenty one merit badges to be earned by the Boy Scout willing to attain the Eagle Scout rank. Once the rank is attained, by fulfilling all the requirements, the Eagle Scouts are honored by a medal and a badge. This medal and the badge is the sign of recognition of the rank. Eagle Scout ceremonies are held for the Eagle Scouts for their honor. There are various challenges for the Eagle Scouts to face. The first and the most important challenge for an Eagle Scout are to live with honor.

As the rank of Eagle Scout is attained by a lot of efforts by the Boy Scout, hence, the rank is awarded to them by hosting great Eagle Scout ceremonies. Boy Scouts who are to be honored by the rank of Eagle Scout should invite people who helped them to make it happen to be the part of the ceremony. People must send the invitations to the key people a few weeks before the ceremony. The ceremony should be organized taking care of all the people attending the ceremony. The ceremony should be a disciplined one. There must not be any disobedience of laws in the ceremony. Keeping in mind all these things the ceremony can be organized in a memorable manner.

Hence, by following all the guidelines of the Eagle Scout ceremonies, it can be organized in a beautiful manner. The Scouts should also prepare a speech for them which they may present in front of the honorable guests. By doing all these efforts, the ceremony will be liked by all the participants and will become memorable.
